Culture of Coffee

Day 1. Pereira:

Arrival in the city of Pereira, assistance at Matecaña International Airport, and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay.

Includes: Private transport, accommodation, and medical assistance card.

Does not include: Lunch and dinner.

Day 2. Pereira – Interactive Coffee Farm Experience

Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, the tour to a regional coffee farm begins. Upon arrival at the designated farm, the interactive tour starts with a local expert guiding visitors through beautiful specialty coffee plantations, explaining the coffee process from planting and selective hand-picking to depulping.

The tour includes several stops at viewpoints where we can admire the beautiful landscape and natural surroundings. Finally, we move on to the innovative bean-drying process, followed by the processing station, hulling, and roasting; the tour concludes at the main house with a coffee tasting and barista demonstration, allowing us to savor a cup of the world's best coffee. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 3. Pereira – Filandia – Salento and Cocora Valley

Breakfast at the hotel. Arrival at the meeting point (transfer not included). Meeting points:

Plaza de Bolívar - 8:00 AM

Parque de la Vida - 8:10 AM

Departure at 8:15 AM. ...from Armenia to the Cocora Valley, where you will explore the cloud forest and see the wax palms. Details regarding the viewpoints and associated costs are provided (each passenger pays at the ticket booth based on their preference). The guide accompanies the group as far as the river; time spent in the valley is 2 to 3 hours. Afterward, the group returns to Salento for a historical tour, lunch, a visit to Calle Real, and shopping. Return to Armenia at 4:00 PM. Accommodation.

Note: The Quindío Viewpoint is closed every Monday (or Tuesday if Monday is a public holiday in Colombia).

Day 4. Pereira – Next destination

Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, assistance and transfer to Matecaña International Airport for your flight (not included) to your next destination.
