DAY 01: CHICLAYO ARRIVAL – ARCHAEOLOGICAL TOUR: HUACA RAJADA & ROYAL TOMBS OF SIPÁN MUSEUM
Reception and transfer to the selected hotel.
10:50 AM Departure heading southeast to Sipán-Huaca Rajada—the site where the tomb of the Lord of Sipán was discovered—to visit the archaeological excavation area.
1:30 PM We continue north to the province of Lambayeque for lunch (*lunch not included).
2:50 PM Visit to the Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum (closed Mondays), an impressive museum showcasing gold and silver jewelry from the Lord of Sipán's tomb. We also visit the Brüning Museum (Lambayeque), which houses art collections and jewelry from the Lambayeque culture and other cultures that flourished in the region.
6:00 PM Arrival in Chiclayo and end of the tour.
Overnight stay in Chiclayo.
*Note: Cultural tours, museums, and archaeological sites in Chiclayo are closed on Mondays.
DAY 02: SICÁN – TÚCUME PYRAMIDS
10:20 AM Departure to Ferreñafe to visit the National Sicán Museum. It displays findings from the Huaca El Loro site within the Pómac Forest Historical Sanctuary (Sicán culture), notably the tomb of a man buried upside down, accompanied by gold, silver, and *tumbaga* (gold-copper alloy) jewelry.
1:00 PM Visit to the Túcume Pyramids. We will take a walking tour of this archaeological site—renowned for featuring the largest pyramids in South America—and enjoy the surrounding views.
Lunch stop in Lambayeque (*lunch not included).
4:40 PM Arrival in Chiclayo.
Overnight stay in Chiclayo.
DAY 03: CHICLAYO DEPARTURE
Breakfast. At the appropriate time, transfer to the station or airport for the return to your city of origin or to continue your journey.
