Day 1: ARRIVAL SAN JOSE – MONTEVERDE (125km – 3.5hrs)

Upon landing at Juan Santamaria International Airport, a representative will meet and transfer you to the hotel. Arrive in the picturesque region of Monteverde, the getaway to the wonderful Monteverde Cloudforest and check-in to your hotel. The rest of the day spend at leisure, relaxing in the beautiful surroundings of the tropical rainforest.

Day 2: MONTEVERDE

Indulge in a tasty breakfast at your hotel and get ready for the guided walk to the Monteverde Cloudforest Biological Reserve. Meet your guide at the hotel´s reception and discover the geographical, topographical and climatic conditions have determined the surprising biodiversity found in the Monteverde Reserve, admire miscellaneous ecosystems and animal species that form this outstanding region. The trails are well-maintained and perfect for day trips. Once back in the hotel, spend the rest of the day at leisure, absorbing this tropical atmosphere.

Day 3: MONTEVERDE – DEPARTURE SAN JOSE (125km – 3.5hrs)

After one last breakfast, pick-up at your hotel in Monteverde to transfer you to Juan Santamaria International Airport to continue with your travel arrangements. 

Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling. Sun protection, sunglasses, tennis shoes, hiking shoes, sandals, raincoat or jacket, bathing suit, a hat or cap and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
