From Bangkok to Khao Sok

Day 1: Kanchanaburi

BANGKOK - DAMNERN SADUAK - KANCHANABURI (Lunch)
Departure from Bangkok early in the morning to reach the Damnersaduak pier in Ratchaburi province, where one of the most vibrant and colorful floating markets in the whole of Asia is located. Here you can admire hundreds of "Sampan" traditional boats laden with fruit, vegetables and other products, and people go shopping like in a common market. We continue by bus to the visit of Kanchanaburi, the city of the bridge over the Kwai river, on the construction of which a famous film was made by allied prisoners during the Second World War that made it famous all over the world. Later, by train, for a short ride through the famous Death Railway. Lunch in a typical restaurant.

Day 2:

KANCHANABURI - BANGKOK - TRAIN FOR SURAT THANI (Breakfast)
Departure to visit the Hellfire Pass, a real cut in a mountain to allow the passage of a track, dug by hand by Allied prisoners. Continue to visit Prasat Mueang Sing, the ruins of a city belonging to the Khmer empire in the 12th century. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Return to Bangkok and transfer to the railway station. Night on the the train in 1st class (2 berths per cabin).

Day 3: Khao Sok

SURAT THANI - KHAO SOK (Breakfast, Lunch)
Arrival in Surat Thani and meeting with the guide. Breakfast and departure for Khao Sok National Park. On the way we stop at the most revered Surat Thani pagoda. Arrival at Khao Sok, also known as the Guilin of Thailand. Famous for its gigantic cliffs that rise into the sky, this national park is perhaps Thailand's most spectacular. This is a tour into one of the few pristine rain forests of the country, rich in biodiversity and truly amazing in its natural beauty. Lunch at the park's restaurant. After lunch we embark on a long tail boat for a 4 hours cruise, slowly moving down a river flanked by vertical cliffs covered with jungle. A thirty minutes walk will lead to a cave, surrounded by flowers and forest. A swim in the river will be the proper ending of this beautiful excursion. Transfer to the resort, located in a nearby valley and surrounded by forest.

Day 4:

KHAO SOK (Breakfast)
Transfer to the airport Surat Thani.
