breakfast at the hotel. today you will visit the salt cathedral and the historic center of bogota, accompanied by one of the representatives, who will pick you up at the hotel lobby. departure from the hotel to the municipality of zipaquira, located 49 km north of bogota. en route, you will be able to observe its surroundings and the bridge of the common. the salt cathedral of zipaquira, is considered one of the most remarkable architectural and artistic achievements of colombian architecture, built in a mine 180 meters deep, inside you will visit the ambulatory or viacrucis, the dome, the ramp, the choir, the balconies, the complex of the narthex and the great naves of the cathedral. its importance lies in the value of its cultural, religious and social heritage. in the contest held in 2007 to choose the 7 wonders of colombia, the salt cathedral obtained the highest number of votes, cataloging it as the No. 1 wonder of the country, and was a candidate for one of the 7 wonders of the modern world. lunch back in bogota. we begin with a pedestrian tour starting at bolivar square, we will visit its surrounding streets and you will be able to appreciate buildings such as the national capitol, center of the congress and architectural jewel of bogota, the house of the comuneros, santa clara church museum, the house of nariño, seat of the presidency and where antonio nariño, precursor of the colombian independence, was born. we will enter the gold museum, whose architecture refers to the indigenous cosmology and has about 34,000 pieces of gold and silver work from various pre-Hispanic cultures. later, we will visit the botero exhibition where the art donation of the colombian master is located. check-in and lodging in bogota. 

Note: the gold museum is closed on mondays and the botero exhibition is closed on tuesdays. on sundays, the salt cathedral experiences heavy congestion due to the influx of both international and local visitors.

Breakfast at the hotel. transfer from the hotel to the airport according to air itinerary (we suggest an early morning flight). welcome at the airport and transfer to the city of the eternal spring, we will start with the visit of the city, starting with the poblado neighborhood, financial, hotel and commercial center; the nutibara hill, natural viewpoint of medellin and at the top of which there is a replica of a typical antioquean village. of course, you can't miss the botero square, where you will find 23 outdoor bronze sculptures by colombian master Fernando botero, a renowned paisa artist. additionally, you will enjoy a ride on the metrocable of medellín. during the tour typical lunch. you continue with the special tour in comuna 13, which attests to the powerful resilience of the city, who more to tell the story than its residents. you interact with local artists demonstrating their talent and lifestyle for the transformation of the sector. you will see impressive street art, listen to music, troubadours, you will also have a little history lesson on progress; during the tour you will move through the escalators and have a tasting of an artisanal dessert of the region, a must for your photos and instagrammable post. with your visit you will significantly support the life projects of its inhabitants.

Guatapé and El Peñol Tour (fd) - Shared

Breakfast at the hotel. the municipality of Guatapé and the peñol stone are 2 of the most important tourist places that you can enjoy when you visit Medellín. they are located to the east of the city at approximately 2 hours, when you arrive there will be a stop at the old peñol where we begin with the history of the importance of the dam. you will take one of the boats to make the tour by the reservoir observing its great landscape listening to music to encourage even more the tour. visit to the peñol stone for its height is a great viewpoint, you can appreciate its immensity or climb the 745 steps approximately (income not included). upon arrival at Guatapé will take the typical lunch. in the afternoon walk through one of the most beautiful villages in the region, where the houses are adorned by their traditional sockets that tell part of the indigenous history and the colonization of Antioquia, very picturesque streets full of color, find cafes, main square, craft stores. return to the hotel.

Chiva Rumbera tour - Shared

at night tour in chiva rumbera. fun panoramic night tour through the city of cartagena with music on board of a picturesque chiva which is a typical wooden bus decorated with the colors of the colombian flag, adapted to dance in front of its chairs or with dance floor, according to the availability of the vehicle. the tour lasts approximately 2 (two) hours, through the main attractions of the city with crossover music. the stops are the “monument of the old shoes”, “san felipe castle” and “the iconic letters of cartagena” where you will have the opportunity to take pictures and enjoy the destination; besides having the opportunity to purchase typical liquors at the hydration stop. at the end of the tour you will return to the hotel. 

Pick up point: passengers staying in the historic center should arrive at the clock tower to board the chiva and passengers staying in the bocagrande sector will be picked up at the hotel lobby.

breakfast at the hotel. cartagena de indias, is one of the most touristic destinations in this country. in it, you will find all the joy, flavor and color of the caribbean region. at the agreed time, a representative will pick you up at your hotel, to accompany you on this wonderful tour of the city. we will go through the modern bocagrande, with its beaches and shopping areas, continue to the manga neighborhood, where the contrast between the republican architecture and the modern buildings will amaze you. we will arrive at one of the jewels of the city: the castle or fort of san felipe de barajas, built by the spanish to defend themselves from pirates and later from the english in the 17th century. we will continue with a brief walk through the historic center of this beautiful city, visiting the church of san pedro claver, where the remains of the saint, known as the apostle of the blacks, and declared defender of human rights, are located. 

during this tour, you will have the opportunity to visit a jewelry store where you will find various items that show the beauty of emeralds. return to the hotel, rest of the day at leisure. overnight in cartagena.

Tour to the Rosario Islands - Majagua Island (fd) - Shared

Breakfast at the hotel. starts: 08:00 ends: 15:30. san pedro de majagua island is one of the hotels located in the rosary islands. it has a private beach and services for water sports such as snorkeling, bicycle tours, spa or diving. 

For the tour of the day you must be at the pier la bodeguita at 07:45 a.m. upon arrival you will go to the boarding area of the pier la bodeguita at the door n. 3. the departure of the boats is at 08:30 a.m. approx. the trip from the pier to the island is approximately 45 minutes by speedboat in shared service, during the tour you will appreciate the bay of Cartagena, boca chica, there are the fortifications of San Fernando and San Jose; when you arrive you will be greeted with a welcome cocktail and brief explanation of the hotel services; you can enjoy two beach areas, and typical lunch included. at the agreed time return by boat to Cartagena de Indias.

*on the boat ride you may arrive wet and sometimes you will encounter big waves. 

Important clarifications: 

- The time of return from the islands to the dock depends on the authorization of the port captaincy, generally it is at 15.00 to 15.30. 

- If you wish to visit the San Martin de Pajarales aquarium, the hotel's boats have round trip schedules so that you can visit it, it is optional and the payment is made directly. The aquarium is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays when Monday is a holiday in Colombia.
